Helping Virginia Families with Criminal, Traffic Defense, and Family Matters
Ben, a criminal defense and family law attorney, is a native of Alexandria and has been practicing since 2015. He attended Trinity College (CT) and the University of Dayton School of Law.
Ben focuses on matters of criminal and traffic defense, as well as family law, including divorce and child issues such as custody and visitation. He began his career at Legal Aid Works in Fredericksburg, where he represented clients in family law and immigration matters. After working at a small firm in Fairfax, Ben served as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for Fairfax County under Ray Morrogh. Focusing on crimes of domestic violence, Ben handled thousands of misdemeanor and hundreds of felony cases, including abduction, malicious wounding, strangulation, assault and battery, and stalking. He has tried over one dozen jury trials. Ben's experience as a prosecutor enables him to effectively counsel his clients and provide a well-rounded understanding of the interplay between criminal law and family law matters.
When not working, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and golden retriever, travelling, and cooking. Born and raised in Alexandria, he is a fan of all Washington professional sports teams and Liverpool FC. He volunteers with the Screaming Eagles, a DC United supporters' group, in his free time.
